Close Read/Short Answer Response (Assign. 7/12)
For this assignment, you will conduct a close reading of four short stories from an internally-renowned author. However, the close reads will take the form of a short answer responses—aim for eight to ten sentences each. Remember, close reads are a hyper-focused analysis, so concentrate on only one specific aspect of each story.
Conduct close reads (in short answer response form) for four of the following stories:
